Corry City Police
. Corry City Police stopped a black motorized scooter (49 cc) operated by Andrew J. Kocol, 34, of Corry, near the intersection of East Main and Center streets at 8:27 p.m. April 6 after he was seen driving on the roadway and sidewalks. A traffic stop was conducted and Kocol was charged with driving while under a DUI-related suspension. He will answer to the charge during a preliminary hearing before District Judge Denise Buell at a later date.
Pennsylvania State Police
. BLOOMFIELD - State police at Corry stopped a 41-year-old Erie woman for a traffic violation near the intersection of Lakeview Drive and Mount Pleasant Road at 3:20 a.m.April 14. Police interviewed the woman and determined she was under the influence of alcohol. Driving under the influence and traffic charges are pending with District Judge Amy Nicols' office. State police did not release the name of the accused.
. CONCORD - State police at Corry said an unknown person vandalized a train control station by shooting it with a gun near the railroad tracks running parallel to Lovell Road sometime between April 4 and April 8. Police said the person then caused the property to burn, destroying all contents. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact state police.
