Costello earns doctoral degree from Gannon

Andrea Lynn Costello

Andrea Lynn Costello, a 2003 graduate of Corry Area High School, recently graduate from Gannon University with a doctor of physical therapy degree.

She is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

While attending graduate school, Andrea was a member of the Gannon Physical Therapy Ethics Committee. She also served as a member of the Voices on the Border delegation to El Salvador in March of 2010. During this delegation, free physical therapy clinics were provided to the people of El Salvador.

Andrea was also selected by her professors to be the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award in Physical Therapy. She graduated first in her class of 37.

She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Andrea currently lives in Coudersport, Pa., where she completed one of her required clinical experiences during graduate school. She has returned to that area to accept a full-time outptient physical therapist position at Charles Cole memorial Hospital.

Andrea is the daughter of Ronald and Rebecca Costello of Corry. She is also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Corry.
