Kiwanis honors terrific kids

 

During Corry Elementary School’s Summer Achievement Camp, members of the Corry Kiwanis Club recently presented several students with Terrific Kids Awards.

Kiwanis plans to recognize students weekly as terrific kids. To earn the award, students must do good things for others, be kind, work hard and have a positive attitude in school.

All recipients received an award, sticker and certificate for a free milkshake from Arby’s in Corry.

Students who were recently recognized are:

Kindergarten

Elizabeth Geer

Second grade

Trent Richards and Dylan Culver

Third grade

Cougar Vannucci, Haley Deane, Bryce Messinger, Todd Lindenberger, Kara Slye, Dalton Vettenburg and Michael Cannon

Fourth grade

Mackenzie Thomas, Mathew Fonseca, Glorianna Proper, Jalen Shearer, Kyler Miller, Macy Wardner, Zachery Czech, D'Artagnan Leonhart, Joshua Deutsch, Kim Curtis, Allison Lobdell and Padraic Bricker.

Fifth grade

Abigail Root, Mark May, Devin Sherlock, Megan Donato, Sami VanderSchaaff, Tanner Morse, Kyle Slye and Steven Griffis
