Hi-Ed awards scholarships

Six adult college scholarships for the 2011-12 school year were awarded recently by the Corry Higher Education Council. Recipients were, from left, Arlene Blakeslee of Union City, a $500 Kelly Thomas Adult Scholarship; Jessica Hines of Union City, a $750 Zonta Club of Corry Adult Scholarship; Tracy Long of Spring Creek, a $500 Carly Kristine Combs Memorial Adult Scholarship; Stephanie Pondel of Corry, a $750 Zonta Club of Corry Adult Scholarship; Dawn Jaquith of Corry, a $500 Timothy M. Emerson Memorial Scholarship; and Trisha Sawyer of Corry, a $750 Rebecca A. Lewis Memorial Adult Scholarship.
