Sherry Power of Ontario, Canada, and Jason Wade Beckwith of Findley Lake, N.Y., united in marriage during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 3, 2009, at the Peek’n Peak Resort and Spa.
The Rev. David Wickins of the Clymer United Methodist Church officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Sharon McGillivray and Ken McGillivray of Ontario. Her mother gave her away.
The groom is the son of Carol Beckwith and Dave Beckwith of Corry.
The bride wore an ivory strapless sweetheart chiffon dress.
She carried a bouquet of orange roses with purple accents.
Ashley Lynn Power, daughter of the bride, was a junior bridesmaid.
She wore a royal blue dress and carried an orange flower bouquet with purple accents.
Flower girls were Tori and Taylor Beckwith, daughters of the groom.
They wore ivory chiffon dresses and carried an orange flower bouquet with purple accents.
A reception for 25 people followed at the Peak.
The couple and their family took a trip to Emerald Isle, N.C.
They currently reside in Findley Lake.
The new Mrs. Beckwith earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a diploma in social service work.
She is currently employed as a family social worker for child welfare.
Her husband is currently pursuing a master’s of business administration degree.
He is employed as a chief financial officer of Lutheran Social Services Group, Inc.
