Imperial March

Corry Area High School will continue its weeklong Homecoming celebration today with a parade that starts at 6 p.m. at Corry Elementary School and ends at Corry Area Middle-High School. This year’s Homecoming theme is “Star Wars” and many of today’s floats and parade units will mirror that theme. Helping to lead the event will be members of the Corry Area Middle-High School Marching Band, above, who will also perform Friday during halftime of the Homecoming football game against Slippery Rock. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m., and follows the 6th annual Hoagie Hut Tailgate party that begins at 4:30 p.m. A new Homecoming queen will be crowned during the halftime coronation ceremony. This year’s candidates are Adrian Baressi, Molly Chadwick, Miranda Cummings, Laura Curtis, Lauren Munsee, Tori Niggel and Samantha Owens. Journal photo by R.L. McCray
