Impact award

Three elementary counselors from the Corry Area School District were recently honored for their role in “reducing the impact of crime in the community” during the Crime Victim Center’s Awards Luncheon. The women were nominated for the award by CVC’s community educator Amy Blackman, left. The counseling team — who are, second from left, Mary Hammer, Holly Trauner and Linda Yeaney — received an award and each were presented with a certificate of appreciation. Co-workers and relatives of the recipients were present at the luncheon for the awards presentation. Contributed photo
