EDINBORO – Hope Junction Community Church in Union City and Draketown Christian Church outside of Edinboro are excited to host the second annual NWPA Game Dinner and Talk on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Edinboro Camp, 12940 Fry Road, Edinboro.

Nationally-known author Jason Cruise be this year’s guest speaker.

The last game dinner had about 400 attendees, and officials hope to top that number by moving to Edinboro.

“We are currently looking to partner with local businesses to donate door prizes and or gift auction items for the event. Proceeds from the gift auction will go to Hunt of a Lifetime,” Pastor Daryl Meyer said.

In addition to being a pastor, Meyer said he owns and runs a small farm business and is very passionate about supporting and promoting small businesses.

The organization is a 501c3, nonprofit ministry, which makes all donations tax deductible. Meyer said he encourages attendees to work with their suppliers to see if they will help absorb the cost of any potential prize they donate.

“The game dinner is always a fun evening for people that love the outdoors to share stories, enjoy good food, win prizes and hear from a great speaker,” Meyer said.

Doors open at 5 p.m. General admission is $12. For more information or tickets, call 814-460-7857.
