The annual Puckly family reunion was held Sunday, July 11, at Mead Glen pavilion in Mead Park.

Sixty family members attended from Corry, Butler, Erie, Waterford, Spartansburg and Titusville. Other family members came from Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina and Virginia.

The reunion began with the celebration of Mass by the Rev. Father Dan Mulcahy, pastor of Saint Mary of the Assumption in Milford, Mass.

The meal began afterward, with each family having brought a dish to share.

The families spent the afternoon socializing and catching up with what was happening in each family.

Jerome Puckly and Michael VanTassel won the annual horseshoe tournament, while Mary Coan made a valiant effort to hold up the ladies’ end of the tournament.

This year’s reunion was chaired by Mark and Pam VanTassel of Corry. The new chairs for the 2011 reunion are Karen and Ed Moore of Centerville, Va.
