The 10th annual Bluegrass Music Festival at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Wattsburg will be held this weekend.

Music starts on Friday at 5 p.m. and runs from 12:30 to 10 p.m. on Saturday. Gospel music will be featured from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The music festival is run solely by donations and all proceeds go to the fairgrounds to help with expenses. The event also is run solely by volunteers. Admission is by donation.

The bands and musicians also donate their time and talent for the event. Bands have traveled from as far as three or more hours away and bring their campers for the weekend.

Camping is available with rates starting at $5 per night. Food will be available for purchase from Larry’s Tater Shack, M & M Concession and Wattsburg Hose Co. chicken barbecue.
