Alicia Marie Young and Austin J. Tapper were united in marriage during a beautiful evening ceremony on Aug. 17, 2019, in the Garden of the Gods National Landmark in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with Brandon Baker officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Kristi Fike, of Corry, and Curtis Young of Crystal River, Florida.
Alicia is a graduate of The Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science with a degree in specialized business in funeral service management, funeral directing, embalming and crematory services.
Prior to moving, Alicia was employed with Bracken Funeral Home Inc. in Corry as well as the Pennsylvania State Police Troop E headquarters in Erie as a PCO. She is now stationed at the New Castle barracks of Pennsylvania State Police Troop D.
The groom is the son of Kevin and LouAnn Tapper of Cambridge Springs.
He is a graduate of Grove City College with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. He is employed as a manager at Peterbilt Inc. in Youngstown, Ohio.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Colorado Springs and Aspen, Colorado; area hiking the national parks and sand dune surfing.
A celebration with family and friends will be held this summer.
The newlywed couple will reside in Hubbard, Ohio.
