A "Halloween Happenings" event will be held Oct. 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Corry City Park. The event is being held by WWCB Radio and the Corry Blue Zones Project.

This free, family-friendly event will include many activities and the number of guests will be managed with tickets and registration tables to keep attendance numbers to the 250 outdoor event limit ordered by Gov. Wolf.

A rain date is set for Oct. 31, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Parents and kids are invited to wear costumes to this event.

A costume parade will bring participants throughout the park and a children's costume contest will take place in the gazebo.

"Treat stations" will be set up and fun-prize giveaways will be available for kids.

Games of musical chairs featuring Halloween inspired music will be set up in the lawn and participants have a chance to win prizes.

A photo booth will be available for guests.

Visitors can bring a carved or decorated pumpkin from home to enter into a pumpkin carving contest.

Sidewalks will be marked with Xs to help guests maintain a 6-foot distance between guests as they follow directional arrows between designated entry and exit points.

All participants are asked to wear face masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
