A free Summer Recreational Program will be offered at the Corry Community Center from June 11 to July 20 for area youths.

The event is being sponsored by the City of Corry.

Children ages 7 to 13 may attend the program from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and youths ages 14 to 16 may participate between 1 and 2:30 p.m.

Free breakfasts and lunches will be offered to participants and children ages 2 to 18 years old even if they are not participating in the program.

Breakfast will be served from 9 to 10 a.m. and lunch will be served from noon to 1 p.m.

This year’s program activities will include crafts, constructive sports activities, swimming, foose ball and board games.

There will also be a program hosted by the Girl Scouts that will be offered to female participants.

There will be a free field trip to Waldameer Park and Waterworld on July 20.

The field trip is based on attendance to the program and is limited.

Discount tickets may be purchased for children who do not meet the attendance requirements.

Applications for the Summer Recreational Program are available at the Corry Community Center or at the City Building. Only completed applications will be accepted.

All applications must be turned in to the community center by June 8 for breakfast and lunch counts.
