Gary Greeley and Karen Hartman were united in marriage on Juine 21, 2008 at St. Peter Claver Church, St. Paul, Minnesota.
The reverend Kevin McDonnell officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
Mrs. Rose Meier, mother of Karen, gave the bride away, and Esther Greeley, mother of Gary, accompanied the groom.
Christine Meier, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.
The reverend Kevin McDonnell gave a solo vocal performance and Jill Kosbob gave the reading.
The bride and grooms’ late fathers, Lawrence Meier and Ronald Greely, were both honored at the ceremony. The couple met on Father’s Day.
The bride was employed by Minnesota Housing Finance Association and the groom is a member of the Las Vegas school district faculty.
A reception after the ceremony was held at the American Legion. There were 300 guests in attendance.
The newlyweds toured several national parks and various train exhibits on their honeymoon, returning to their newly built home in Henderson, Nevada.
