Hajec honored as Boy of the Month

David Hajec

Corry Area High School senior David Hajec was recently chosen as October Boy of the Month by the Corry Rotary Club.

Hajec is on the honor roll and plans on attending college. He has not decided on a specific major.

His activities include varsity soccer, football, track, History Club and National Honor Society.

His awards and recognitions include the Freedom Foundation Award for his work on the History Club’s Constitution Wall.

Hajec is involved in the Praise Band at Corry First United Methodist Church and Boy Scouts Troop 81.

He is also a volunteer elementary girls assistant basketball coach.

Hajec is employed at S & H Car Care as a janitor.

His hobbies include soccer, skiing, hanging out with friends and going to youth group.

Hajec’s life goals are to go to college, get a degree and major in something he loves so that he can live a life of happiness.

He is the son of Gary and Linda Hajec of Corry.
