Knitting classes are being offered at the Union City Public Library.

The classes are designed to improve and enhance knitting skills.

Three different classes are being offered. Techniques 1 classes will be held three days, Oct. 19, Oct. 20, and Oct. 26.

Techniques 2 classes will be held four times beginning Nov. 2

Drafting classes will also be held.

A knitting club is also meeting at the library the second Monday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Participants will have the opportunity to get to know other knitters, exchange patterns and ideas, get help with their project and just attend to learn about different yarns and how to use them.

The next knitting club meeting will be held Oct. 12.

For more information on the knitting classes, times, and the knitting club, call the library at 438-3209 or Elaine Wright at 438-3452.
