Youth and adult artists from the Corry and Union City areas are invited to submit their artwork for "Celebrating the Possibilities," the Jay and Mona Kang Art Show and Sale at the Barber National Institute in Erie.

Artwork can be dropped off in north lobby of the Barber National Institute on Thursday, March 5, and Friday, March 6, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Forms of artwork accepted include paintings, drawings, fabric, sculpture and photography. Each artist can submit up to two pieces of work, although only one may be selected for the show depending on space limitations.

Youth artists (up to age 18 or high school students) can submit their work free of charge. Adult artists will be charged a $20 fee per piece of artwork that is available for sale and $25 for pieces that are not for sale.

A panel of judges from the community will select artwork for monetary awards that will be awarded in adult and youth artist categories, with separate awards for photography. In addition, cash awards will be presented for a People's Choice Award for youth and adult artwork selected by visitors to the show.

More information and entry forms are available in the "Call for Entries" posted online at or by calling the Barber National Institute at 814-874-5603.

This year's show will be held from April 17 to April 20 at the Barber National Institute.
