The First United Methodist Church, 42 E. High St., Union City, is holding a pasta buffet dinner to benefit area youth.

Half of the proceeds of the buffet will help fund a mission trip for Sara Dix, who will be traveling to Zimbabwe in July. Dix will be attending ZimCamp, a program that enables youth to visit and share fellowship with other young people in Zimbabwe.

The other half of the proceeds will benefit children attending Wesley Woods summer camp.

The dinner will be held Saturday, May 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church. The buffet will include stuffed shells, tortellini, meatballs, penne, pierogi lasagna, Italian chicken, spaghetti and different sauces to choose from.

There will also be tossed salad, dessert and beverages.

Takeout is available.

Cost is a donation.

Anyone wishing to work at the dinner or make a dessert is asked to sign up in the Gathering Area of the church.
