Boxing classes will be offered through the YMCA of Corry on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and Saturdays at 8:15 a.m. at The Rex Building, beginning on Nov. 6. Erin Passinger will be the instructor for each of the hour-long sessions and there will be some other staff instructors. There’s a free soft opening class on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 8:30 a.m. for anyone who wants to check it out. All regular sessions require calling the YMCA and signing up for each individual class as spots are limited. It is free to Y members.

Finally, have fun Jean Powles who is retiring from the United States Post Office tomorrow — after 20 years. Now she can do “anything she wants” she tells me.
