How special is this? Colin Potocki, Andy's son, got to skate on ice during the first intermission on Sunday at the Penguins versus Bruins hockey game in Pittsburgh.
Jake Cirigliano is “home again.” He was installed as Rev. Jake Cirigliano as associate pastor at Corry Faith Evangelical Church. He shared in Communion with his father, Rev. Lynn Cirigliano.
It's a shame that the weather wiped out Corry's junior high and junior varsity wrestling tournaments this past Saturday. It's the biggest fundraiser and helps the boosters pay for travel expenses. Corry will now be competing in a tourney in Meadville on Feb. 1.
Nice to see Lucas Marsh at last Friday’s Corry home boys basketball game. Eric Oliver is live this Saturday from 6-9 p.m. at The Library Bar and Grill. I see that Dan Crawford (and his wife Susan) enjoyed Niagara Falls for his birthday.
Sympathy to the family and friends of former city of Corry policeman Greg Steuart, Betty Louise Klinger and Marilynn Knowlton who was my neighbor growing up when we lived on Marion Street. She worked some 30 years as a server and waitress at the Corry Country Club. Her daughter Gay graduated with me, and her other daughter Lana lives with her husband Punk at 359 Marion Street (where my family lived).

Kellie Schwabenbauer has a birthday today and, for the record, she’s not 40 (yet).
Dick and Reva Lowry celebrated 60 years of marriage on Tuesday.
Belated birthday wishes to Marsha Cummings. My niece Andrea has a birthday tomorrow, Jan Burrows on Friday. That’s also Emily Hazeltine’s 21st birthday and, thanks to Korny, she’s getting the weekend off at the American Legion.
Shannon Eshelman's son Arthur turned 11 earlier this week.
I’m guessing that CAHS wrestling coach Mark Munsee will be smiling a lot while at work today at Fort LeBoeuf High School.
Looks like the Anderson clan had a great time in State College this past Saturday. Mike and his wife Coty, Jamie and his wife Vicki, saw Penn State beat Ohio State in men’s basketball and then attended the Nittany Lions hockey match. Coty and Vicki even got their picture taken with the Lion mascot. Penn State (16-7-1) tied Michigan at 4-4. They did miss Penn State’s 38-6 win Sunday over Rutgers. If you care, the No. 2-rated Lions are at Nebraska this Friday and at No. 1 Iowa on Jan. 31. That’s on the Big Ten Network.
