Corry boys basketball team will open the season playing at the Erie Insurance Arena versus Fredonia, N.Y., perhaps the first athletic competition between the two schools. Corry's junior varsity team will play at 2 p.m. with the varsity game set for 3:45 p.m. Admission tickets are good for the Erie BayHawks game that night.

On my way to last Saturday's football game at New Era Field (home of the Buffalo Bills), I noticed that gas was $2.09 at the Native Pride places and even the Kwik Fills had it for $2.69.
