Sorry to learn of the passing of Robert Duane Migliaccio, 76, in Sumter, S.C. He and his wife Kathie provided homes to so many young people. I recall getting our first dog, chocolate poodle Samantha, from one of the children.

It took Richard Skalos 37 days covering over 6,100 miles and 17 states from Corry to North Texas. He got stranded in Cheyenne in a snow storm on the way to Texas. “When I entered my house, my dog bit me,” he said. “Guess I deserve that for leaving him with strangers since April.”
Bill Beggs and the Bugle Boy Swing Band will perform at the Corry Senior Center on Friday from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m., honoring veterans with their music. It will be a mix of patriotic and the World War II big band era music.
It was a great turnout for the Deb Gates fundraiser Sunday at the VFW.

As the Browns get ready to host the Bills, did you notice that Buffalo is only a game behind New England? The Browns starting tight end last Sunday was Stephen Carlson, a graduate of Jamestown (N.Y.) High School and Princeton University.
