The Library Bar & Grill is holding a "No-Shave November" beard and mustache competition on Saturday, Nov. 30. Registration is at 6 p.m., the event from 7-9 p.m. It benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The Corry Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first-ever Christmas Ball on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 7-11 p.m. at the Fork and Barrel Restaurant. The cost is $50 a couple and includes hors d’oeuvres and a glass of champagne. DJ Brian SIlvis will be playing Rat Pack-era music (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin) and more. The Reindeer Breakfast is Saturday, Dec. 7, from 8-11 a.m. at the Corry VFW. There will be gift baskets and a lottery tree. From 9 a.m. to noon is the Reindeer Trail Walk at Mead Park featuring live alpacas and Santa's workshop at Nichols Lodge. There's free children's games and crafts.
On Nov. 30, from noon to 5 p.m., there’s a Christmas walk at historic White Swan Antique Store in Wrightsville.
