Do you remember the old Corry Barbell Club? It started out on the second floor of Eastman’s Craft Shop on Spring Creek Highway. Larry, Lonnie and Lyle Eastman, Randy Proctor, Tim Foreman, Jeff Daniels, Dave Hajec, Pete Sander and others. Most of the guys were working at Corry Jamestown at the time. They outgrew it fast and went to the second floor over Darnofall’s Shoe Store right by the South Center Street tracks, in the building where the Corry Mural is now. A few years later they moved to East Main Street. Bernie Dunnewold set it up over the pottery shop.
