FRANKLIN — The Hajec brothers proved just enough for Corry’s boys soccer team as the Beavers outlasted Franklin 2-0, outshooting the Knights, 34-4.

Corry evened its record at 2-2-1, Franklin falling to 3-4 overall, 1-4 in the region.

Dave Hajec scored in the first half and Andy Hajec had an unassisted goal in the second half.

Tyler Rash was the shutout keeper.

Lu Guanyle was again impressive for the Beavers, playing great on defense.

Corry’s junior varsity fell 4-0, playing well in the second half after giving up three goals in the first half.

Corry plays at Eisenhower on Monday and then makes its long-awaited home debut at Sheen Field on Wednesday against Maplewood.
